Job Description
Mowery Clinic is seeking a full-time Insurance Clerk to join our Business Office department. Primary responsibilities include assisting with filing insurance claims, payment adjudication, communication with third parties on outstanding insurance accounts, and processing refunds for overpaid accounts. Qualified applicants must be motivated self-starters with strong organizational and computer skills. Must be a dependable team player with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers in a positive and professional manner. Previous medical office experience desirable. Medical insurance experience and familiarity with medical terminology and CPT and ICD-10 coding preferred. Daytime hours, competitive salary, and excellent benefits. This position is a full-time position at 36 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - noon.
