• Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims.

• Responsibilities:

• Review and verify accuracy of billing and payment data and revise any errors
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
• Utilize medical collection best practices to minimize accounts receivable
• Direct patient communication to manage and minimize cash aging
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing issues

• Qualifications:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
• Experience with medical records, E&M coding, and medical office procedures
• Strong understanding of medical collection processes
• Familiarity with various medical coding software applications
