This vital role combines accurate financial management with efficient administrative support, ensuring our organization runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, precision, and a proactive approach to managing financial records, supporting office operations, and contributing to our overall success. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a collaborative environment that values integrity and attention to detail. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar systems, including data entry and transaction categorization. Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processing, and general ledger reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Prepare accurate journal entries, financial reports, and supporting documentation for audits or internal review. Maintain and update spreadsheets for budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting purposes. Support office administration by managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining filing systems, and handling general inquiries. Assist with governmental accounting requirements and tax filings. Experience Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles and financial concepts. Hands-on experience with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Knowledge of corporate accounting practices, governmental accounting standards, and nonprofit accounting is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently with spreadsheets and financial software while maintaining high accuracy levels. Prior experience in public accounting or working within an organization that adheres to GAAP standards is preferred. Strong organizational skills complemented by attention to detail; proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry is a plus.
