This role partners closely with the office team to help ensure smooth patient flow, strong treatment presentation, and consistent administrative performance. Success in this position means driving production and collections goals, maintaining accurate clinical and financial documentation, supporting staff through coaching and leadership, and delivering an exceptional patient experience while meeting practice goals. Duties & Responsibilities Support the Regional manager with leading daily operations, coordinating front desk, clinical, and administrative workflows. Present and sell treatment plans by explaining options clearly using patient-centered communication and dentistry terminology. Audit patient charts and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for treatment and billing workflows. Coordinate patient scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups to maximize appointment utilization and patient satisfaction. Verify insurance benefits and support the insurance process, including understanding coverage, eligibility, and estimates. Collect payments and manage patient balances, including patient accounts receivable (AR) and insurance AR workflows as assigned. Monitor production and collections performance, taking action to support targets and reduce outstanding balances. Motivate, lead, and coach office staff to improve performance, accountability, and team engagement. Maintain organized records and support compliance with office policies and documentation standards. Partner with the team to resolve patient and billing questions professionally and efficiently. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in general dentistry. Proven ability to sell treatment and explain care options using fluent dentistry terminology. Experience auditing charts and supporting accurate documentation for clinical and billing readiness. Demonstrated experience with patient coordination and follow-up workflows. Preferred experience with insurance verification. Experience collecting payments and managing insurance AR and patient AR. Collections and production-driven mindset with strong sales orientation. Ability to motivate and lead staff in a supportive, performance-focused manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Professional communication skills with patients and team members.
