Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our daily operations. In this role, you will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient functioning of our office and contribute to the smooth execution of our projects and initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary front‑office contact, including greeting visitors and answering the door Answer incoming phone calls and manage voicemail messages Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Organize and maintain filing systems Complete accounting and financial support tasks, including data entry in QuickBooks and running reports Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the office space Assist with coordination and logistics for special events Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience using MS Suite products Experience using Google Suite products Experience using QuickBooks Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner Must be dependable and punctual Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented Respect and maintain confidentiality of ECAC volunteers, partners, and donors Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt Passion for our mission and a commitment to contributing to positive change
