ABOUT THE ROLE SYNERGY

HomeCare is seeking an experienced home-care professional who is ready to take the next step into management and help lead the day-to-day operations of a growing home-care agency. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Home Care Coordinator, Scheduler, HR/Staffing Professional, Assistant Manager, or similar professional who understands home care and is ready for greater responsibility, ownership, and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee day-to-day office operations Coordinate caregiver staffing and scheduling Manage call-outs, open shifts, and coverage issues Support caregiver recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Oversee HR administration, employee files, credentials, and compliance follow-up Support new-client onboarding and ongoing client service Respond to and resolve caregiver and client concerns Ensure calls, emails, and other communications are handled promptly Provide direction and accountability to staffing and administrative team members Track operational priorities and ensure follow-through Maintain accurate documentation Identify operational gaps and recommend solutions Support leadership with process improvement, service quality, and agency growth

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior home-care agency experience is

REQUIRED

2+ years of experience in home care operations, staffing, scheduling, HR, client care, or a related role preferred Leadership experience is helpful but not required; strong home-care professionals ready to step into management are encouraged to apply Strong understanding of caregiver scheduling, call-outs, coverage, and day-to-day home-care operations Experience with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation Strong judgment and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication Highly organized with strong attention to detail Able to prioritize competing needs and follow issues through to resolution Comfortable taking ownership and holding others accountable Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Experience with home-care scheduling, ATS, CRM, or similar systems preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience English required; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
