Job Description

Autism Learning Institute (ALI) is an autism services company providing data-driven, evidence-based, individualized, one-to-one therapy utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ALI is comprised of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and a strong administrative team who work together to provide ABA services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) throughout New Jersey. Responsibilities/Job Description:
Audit, monitor and track all billing activity through our practice management (PM) system, Central Reach from scheduling client appointments to conversion of timesheets, submission of claims and payment postings Oversee submission of claims to insurance company's through our PM system Monitor payment of insurance claims and following up with payors on claim denials Monitor accounts and providers for possible credentialing issues affecting reimbursement and drive quick resolution Oversee EOB payment posting for organization Discuss patient co-payments and collection of co-pay with families Credentialing new providers with payors Obtain authorizations with payors for new clients as well as monitoring utilization and seeking re-authorizations Define, track, and drive vital company metrics like revenue collection rate Educate, train, and motivate other teams to uphold and improve our billing processes over time On-board new clients and providers Manage daily office activities including scheduling, purchasing office supplies Managing a team of AR specalists Other tasks assigned as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
2 years of medical billing experience Central Reach software experience (preferred) HR experience (preferred) Experience with CPT codes Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communication with clients and insurance companies Experience with US healthcare reimbursement Comfort with ambiguity and an entrepreneurial ownership mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask and work independently Pay type: W-2 employee, full-time Discretionary annual bonus opportunity benefits include PTO 401k
