UPMC Keyword Location Search view all jobs Office Manager Farrell, PA Posted 6 days ago Apply Now a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } UPMC Physician Services is seeking an experienced Office Manager to support UPP Surgery practices at UPMC Jameson and UPMC Horizon, located at 26 Nesbitt Road, Suite 151, New Castle, PA 16105, and 2000 Memorial Drive, Suite A, Farrell, PA 16121. This full-time leadership role works Monday through Friday during daylight hours and is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of busy surgical practices. The Office Manager will partner with providers and staff to ensure efficient workflows, exceptional patient service, and effective practice operations across multiple locations. These practices support a diverse group of surgeons specializing in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Surgical Oncology. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, support staff development, optimize office performance, and contribute to a positive patient and employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional to play a key role in supporting high-quality surgical care throughout the region.
Responsibilities:
Anticipate scheduling issues when members of the staff are not scheduled. Coordinate and staff laser templates, ensuring that patients are properly scheduled. Review patient schedules routinely to troubleshoot for overbooked clinics, as well as staffing in respective areas of the department. Develop and maintain a patient-centric culture, centered around patient arrival and follow up activities in line with the consumerism initiatives, if applicable. Maintain correspondence with the Practice Manager concerning personnel, human resource, supplies, and patient issues. Order all supplies and services as needed for this practice. Be cognizant of and apply relative administrative, UPP, and departmental policies and procedures for the protection of the patients, staff and department. Monitor and meet practice specific benchmarks inclusive of point of service and scheduling (inclusive of template management for timely patient access), if applicable. Ensure that the clinical environment is patient friendly, appropriate for staff and physicians to work and be productive by working closely with the staff and physicians responding to issues and problem-solving. Provide and coordinate maintenance on all equipment used by the clinical staff of the department. Bachelor's Degree in Health Care or Business + 1 year healthcare or management experience OR Associate's Degree in Health Care or Business + 2 years of healthcare experience or 1 year of management experience OR High School Diploma +3 years healthcare experience or 1 year of management experience
