Role Description:
The Assistant to Office Manager is a part-time (flexible 25-32 hours/week), on-site role based in Mount Wolf, PA. This position supports the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks, including answering and directing phone calls, managing incoming mail, and maintaining organized filing systems. The role involves preparing and updating documents, data entry, scheduling appointments, and assisting with meeting coordination. The Assistant to Office Manager also helps with customer inquiries, maintains office supplies, and supports basic recordkeeping and reporting. The position requires consistent on-site presence, reliability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining professional communication with internal staff and the public. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance skills.
- Candidates should possess effective Phone Etiquette and Communication skills.
- Candidates should possess solid Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
- High school diploma plus 3 years of experience; additional administrative training or experience in a utility or municipal setting is beneficial.

- Administering payroll and invoice payments as necessary
- Facilitating billing of Authority's customers
- Answering customers' questions regarding their utility accounts
- Receiving (in person and by mail) and posting customers' utility payments
- Delinquent account collections (phone calls, sending notices)
