Job Description

Lauderdale Community Living is looking for a Business Office Manager to join our growing team! The Business Office Manager plays a vital role in supporting the financial and administrative operations of our facility. This position works directly with residents, families, employees, facility leadership, and management team to ensure accurate and timely management of resident accounts, billing, payments, collections, and financial records. Responsibilities Manage resident accounts, billing, payments, and accounts receivable. Record and reconcile payments and daily deposits accurately. Maintain accurate resident financial records and admissions documentation. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on delinquent accounts in accordance with company policies. Assist with Medicaid and Medicare qualification processes in coordination with Social Services. Coordinate with the Billing Analyst to ensure accurate and timely monthly billing. Work with Accounts Payable to process invoices and manual check requests as needed. Assist residents and families with account questions, outstanding balances, and payment arrangements. Maintain confidentiality of resident financial and personal information. Ensure compliance with the Accounting Manual and established financial policies and procedures. Maintain organized business office records and supplies. Provide professional and compassionate service to residents, families, visitors, and team members. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator. Requirements Previous experience in a business office, accounting, billing, or financial administrative role preferred. Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred. Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, cash receipts, and financial recordkeeping. Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based accounting or billing systems.
