Overview The Administrative Assistant & Curriculum Coordinator at Lightbridge Academy plays a central role in our Circle of Care® philosophy. This hybrid position balances professional front-desk operations with educational leadership, ensuring that our proprietary curriculum is delivered with fidelity while maintaining top-tier customer service and absolute state licensing compliance.
ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Operations Support Front Desk Hospitality:
Greet families warmly, manage phone inquiries, and cultivate a welcoming reception environment.
Enrollment Coordination:
Support family tours, manage registration pipelines, and assist parents with onboarding paperwork.
Licensing Compliance:
Audit student files, immunizations, and staff logs to meet all Texas HHS child care regulations. Curriculum Coordination & Teacher Coaching Seedlings®
Curriculum Fidelity:
Monitor and audit classroom implementation of the proprietary Seedlings® Curriculum (Infants through Pre-K).
STREAM Integration:
Train and mentor teaching staff on building STREAM concepts into weekly lesson plans.
Enrichment Oversight:
Support teachers in running specialized tracks like Spanish Sprouts, Singing Sprouts and other proprietary curriculum .
Classroom & Floating Support Ratio Compliance:
Serve as a floating support staff member, stepping into classrooms to cover teacher breaks or absences. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent qualification (Associate's degree preferred). Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a preschool, daycare, or child-centered setting. Strong proficiency with administrative software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a welcoming, positive customer service approach. Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications (or willingness to obtain them immediately upon hire). Must clear all required state background checks, fingerprinting, and medical health clearings. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, or hold objects or children weighing up to 35 pounds safely. Stamina to sit, stand, walk, bend, or kneel comfortably on a child's eye level throughout the workday.
