Job Description

Burg Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a motivated and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional pediatric dental and orthodontic care in a welcoming, family-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting both patients and team members while helping ensure the practice operates efficiently and effectively.

Burg Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics What You'll Do As an Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the practice while supporting the clinical team and creating an exceptional experience for patients and families. You will provide leadership to the team, monitor office workflows, and help ensure the practice meets operational and service expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflows to support an efficient practice Lead, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Oversee patient scheduling and help ensure an efficient and productive appointment calendar Monitor patient experience and address questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner Support insurance, billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes Monitor practice performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient service Assist with payroll, timekeeping, employee records, and other administrative processes as needed Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members Ensure team members follow established practice policies, procedures, and compliance standards Partner with clinical leadership to support smooth communication between the administrative and clinical teams Monitor office supplies, equipment, and general facility needs Participate in staff meetings, training, and practice improvement initiatives Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous dental or healthcare office management experience preferred Experience in a pediatric dental, orthodontic, or multi-specialty dental practice is a plus Strong understanding of dental practice operations, scheduling, insurance, billing, and collections Experience with dental practice management software preferred Previous leadership or team management experience Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
