Job Description

at Birch Tree Tax in Shelburne, Vermont, United States Job Description Small tax preparation business in Shelburne, VT is seeking an office administrator with the following skills:
  • Strong attention to detail & confidentiality
  • Excellent client communication skills
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks Online bookkeeping a plus
  • Ability to work well with others and be a team player
  • High achiever who cares about contributing good work to their workplace
  • Able to take initiative and work independently; excellent time management skills This position runs full-time early January through April 15th, with more flexibility during the summer months.
Preference will be given to those with administrative, or tax/financial, and/or bookkeeping experience. Responsibilities include client communication management, client data organization and tracking, handling mail, working with the team to develop office systems, bookkeeping, scheduling, processing all client materials, and assembling final tax returns. Compensation is $28/hr. This position does not offer health insurance.
