Job Description

Horn CPA Group is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our small, close-knit team. This client-facing role is an essential part of our office. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play a key role in creating a professional, welcoming, and positive experience from the moment a client walks through our door or calls our office. We offer a casual, professional work environment where teamwork is essential. We support one another, stay organized, and work together to provide excellent service to our clients. What You'll Do Greet clients and provide a friendly, professional first impression Answer and direct incoming phone calls Communicate with clients in person, by phone, and by email Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar Receive, organize, scan, copy, and file client documents Maintain accurate electronic files Perform data entry and other administrative tasks Process incoming and outgoing mail Assist accountants and other team members with administrative and clerical tasks Maintain an organized and professional office environment Learn and utilize various office and accounting-related software Take on a variety of responsibilities and assist with other tasks as needed The Person We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Is personable, friendly, and comfortable interacting with clients Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Is organized and pays close attention to detail Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Can quickly assess what needs to be done and complete tasks efficiently Is dependable and takes ownership of their responsibilities Works collaboratively with the team and is willing to take on a variety of responsibilities as needed Is comfortable switching between different tasks throughout the day Has a positive, professional attitude Understands the importance of confidentiality when working with sensitive client information Is comfortable learning new software and processes Our Team Environment We are a small, close-knit office where teamwork is essential. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional and personable demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information What We Offer Full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8-hour workday) Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Bonus opportunities Casual, professional work environment Small, supportive team
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
