10266 Overview The Randolph County Extension office is currently seeking a TES Administrative Support Associate to provide administrative, financial, and general clerical support within the Randolph County Extension Office located in Wedowee, Alabama. Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being: Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads Assistance with special projects Seasonal work Emergencies If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a great way to showcase your professional skills and assist Auburn University while gaining valuable work experience within higher education. Responsibilities Performs multiple duties which are a mix of administrative and clerical in nature, which may include but are not limited to data gathering, data management, correspondence, filing, calendar management, event scheduling, mail distribution, answering phones, organizing mail, purchasing/ordering supplies. Assist in routing visitors to the correct program/personnel. May provide budget preparation, tracking, monitoring and auditing, payroll processing, travel/expense voucher processing and other accounting and financial tasks. Coordinates approvals, ordering, and invoice payments for the department. Advises staff, students, administrators, and clients of standard policies or procedures. Acts as a point of contact to other departments and to the public on behalf of the manager or director. May perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree OR Bachelor's degree
