Overview:
Sterling Engineering is seeking a motivated Program Administrator to join our client's team and support program management activities in a structured, collaborative environment. This position is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in developing a career in program management. The Program Administrator will work closely with Program Managers, supporting multiple projects and coordinating with various departments and customers. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, comfortable managing competing priorities, and able to communicate effectively across an organization.
Job Duties:
Support Program Managers with day-to-day program and project activities. Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple departments. Assist with managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Communicate with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders. Help identify issues and develop practical solutions. Assist with conflict resolution and cross-functional communication. Track project progress and follow up on outstanding action items. Maintain organized project documentation and records. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Project, Teams, and SAP for basic project and program activities. Work with different departments to ensure program objectives and deadlines are met. Support Program Managers with project coordination and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical Engineering or another technical/engineering degree is preferred. Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a structured approach. Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Project, Teams, and/or SAP is a plus. Technical or engineering experience is preferred but not required.
