Job Summary:
The Secretary plans, organizes and provides support to meet the needs of the department. Assists with daily patent scheduling Assists in the scheduling of inpatient clinics, as well as maintain direct communication with outside vendor as directed by inpatient therapy supervisors Maintains outlook calendar, coordinates meetings and appointment for Director of Inpatient Therapy Maintains, organizes and orders general office supplies Maintains, organizes and orders pyxis supplies Maintains detailed and accurate department & program committee meeting minutes Assists department with completion of facilities, IT & biomedical work orders Assists with the coordination of patient durable medical equipment orders Effectively and professionally communicates with staff and administration Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented Maintains databases and prepares reports for both internal and external reporting and regulatory requirements Maintain patient educational binders: Memory books, Ramping packets etc..
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of special secretarial schooling or equivalent experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook High level of confidentiality Ability to perform data entry Ability to manage schedule
