Job Description
Construction Administrative Assistant (Temporary) Position Summary Construction Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for an active construction project site. This position assists project management and field personnel with document control, reporting, payroll support, onboarding paperwork, and other administrative functions necessary to keep the project operating efficiently. This is a temporary position expected to last for the duration of the assigned project. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists project site supervisor with any data entry and reporting Maintain project files, records, permits, and documentation. Enter employee time and assist with payroll reporting. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly project reports. Track training certifications, safety documentation, and compliance records. Process invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and expense reports. Coordinate communications between the jobsite, vendors, subcontractors, and corporate office. Assist project managers and superintendents with administrative tasks. Schedule meetings and maintain project calendars. Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous administrative experience preferred; construction industry experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment. Work Environment Primarily located in a project site office. May require occasional visits to active construction areas with required PPE. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Employment Status Temporary, Full-Time Project-Based Assignment Employment is expected to continue through project completion and may be extended or ended based on project needs.
