Job Description

Your job: Assist with coordination of office and design tasks If you love checking things off a list, thrive when every day looks a little different, and get genuine satisfaction from being the person people can count on — keep reading. At Linden Kitchen and Bath, our designers create beautiful kitchens and baths for clients across the area — but great design only becomes reality when someone is keeping every order, deadline, and delivery on track behind the scenes. That's you. You'll be the right hand to four designers and our owner, making sure nothing falls through the cracks so our team can focus on doing what they do best: designing incredible spaces. Who We Are Linden Kitchen and Bath isn't just a design showroom — it's a tight-knit team that genuinely cares about each other. We work closely together, we communicate clearly, and we've built a culture where people are actually excited to come to work. It's professional and fun. It's fast-paced, but it's family-first — because at the end of the day, we believe the best work comes from people who feel supported, not stretched thin. We have clear expectations and clear boundaries, so you'll always know what "done well" looks like. And if life happens — a school pickup, a family event — we work with you to make up the time, because getting the important things done matters more than rigid hours. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is organized, quick to learn, and genuinely good with people — whether that's a designer who needs an order turned around fast, a client walking into the showroom, or a builder waiting on a delivery. You don't need a design background. You need to be someone who can juggle a lot of moving pieces, keep track of multiple working projects, stay calm under deadline pressure, and represent our brand well every time you interact with a client or partner. If you like variety, take pride in getting details right, and want to be part of a team that has each other's backs — this is your role. Benefits Paid time off / paid holidays Family-first culture — flexibility to handle life's moments, with the expectation that priority work still gets done Growth potential: this role starts at 30 hours/week with the opportunity to grow into full-time A genuinely supportive, collaborative team environment Responsibilities Using our design software (DesignFlex2020), prepare and place materials orders for designers' final sign-off Intake incoming orders — inspect for damage and confirm everything ordered was received Coordinate pickup and delivery logistics with builders, ensuring someone is on-site to receive shipments Set up and manage automated appointment reminder calls; follow up on no-shows to get clients rescheduled Greet clients and visitors in the showroom as a strong, welcoming representative of our brand Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Support four designers and the owner with day-to-day coordination, keeping projects and deadlines on track Lift up to 50 lbs as part of order receiving and handling Qualifications Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities across several people at once Able to lift up to 50 lbs Valid driver's license (occasional errands — minimal, not a primary job function) No prior design industry experience required — we'll train you on our processes and software Skills Computer savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new software (including DesignFlex for order placement) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Clear, professional communicator — in person, on the phone, and in writing Comfortable working with different personalities and adapting to each designer's working style A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through without needing constant direction
