Job Description

Job Summary - Why you'll love this position Northwest Community Services is recruiting for an Administrative Support Assistant for the Staff Development department, domiciled in Marshall or Higginsville, to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 500 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. NWCS is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 100+ individuals receiving 24/7 residential services in their own homes across four counties. The Administrative Support must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs, possess skill in operating office equipment, and willing to travel. Responsibilities - What you'll do This position will be responsible for clerical, printing, and mail related tasks supporting two work units, including but not limited to generating memos and email communications with outside entities, scheduling and attending meetings and composing minutes, scanning and filing various documentation, maintain tracking of various documents and reports, sends and receives various correspondence. Qualifications - All you need for success
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A valid driver's license GED/HS Diploma
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of the processes and procedures applicable to assigned area. Skills in the operation of office equipment and experience using computer programs. Ability to organize work assignments. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide guidance to other employees. 1-3 years of relevant experience.
