Front Office Representative Healthy You Personalized Primary Care Las Cruces, NM Job Details Full-time $36,500 - $41,600 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Patient scheduling systems Electronic health records (EHR) management Full Job Description Job Overview Front Office Representative - Medical Practice Healthy You Personalized Primary Care is seeking a dependable and professional Front Office Representative to support the daily operations of our medical practice. This position is the first point of contact for patients and requires strong customer-service, organizational, and communication skills.

•Prior hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required. Responsibilities Greet patients and complete the check-in and check-out process. Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments in eCW. Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls and patient messages. Create and route telephone encounters and tasks in eCW. Verify insurance eligibility and identify referral or authorization requirements. Collect copayments, deductibles, balances, and other required payments. Scan, upload, label, and index records and forms in the correct patient chart. Assist with referrals, prior authorization documentation, medical records, patient forms, and follow-up tracking. Communicate patient arrivals, schedule changes, and time-sensitive concerns to clinical staff. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and practice policies. Keep assigned eCW work queues, messages, and follow-up tasks current. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks is required. At least one year of medical front-office or patient-access experience preferred. Experience with insurance verification, payment collection, referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records preferred. Strong telephone, customer-service, computer, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain professional in a busy medical office. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Pay:

$36,500.00 - $41,600.00 per year
