$30.00 / hour

Director
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to directly support the Director of an exclusive, private golf club located in Laurel, NY. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a high-end, hospitality-driven environment and excels at managing administrative workflows, scheduling, and high-touch communication. You will serve as the central point of contact for the executive office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations with discretion and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support:
Provide direct administrative assistance to the Director, including calendar management, email correspondence, document preparation, and special project coordination.
Member & Visitor Services:
Greet members, guests, and vendors with warmth and professionalism; handle incoming calls, inquiries, and executive correspondence.
Office & Operational Management:
Organize and maintain office filing systems, order supplies, manage incoming/outgoing mail, and assist with vendor management.
Financial & Record Support:
Assist with basic record-keeping, invoice processing, expense reports, and membership database updates as needed.
Event & Meeting Prep:
Assist in coordinating logistics, materials, and scheduling for board meetings, committee meetings, and club events.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Experience:
3+ years of administrative support, executive assistance, or high-end hospitality/office coordination experience.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning club management software.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, articulate demeanor.
Organization:
Outstanding time-management and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Discretion:
High level of integrity, professional maturity, and discretion when handling confidential club and leadership information.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Hours:
24 hours per week (3 days/week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (Days to be agreed upon)
Pay:
$30.00 per hour
Work Environment:
Beautiful, upscale, and professional setting on the North Fork of Long Island.
