What You'll Do As an Administrative Assistant, you'll support our team and help keep the day-to-day operations of our Magnolia Fabrication Shop office running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting visitors and creating a professional, welcoming first impression Providing administrative support to multiple members of our team Preparing correspondence, documents, reports, and spreadsheets Entering and maintaining information accurately in company systems Organizing electronic and paper records and maintaining accurate documentation Assisting with scheduling, meetings, and other office coordination Communicating with customers, vendors, field personnel, and other members of our team Helping with special projects and taking on new responsibilities as you learn our business Pitching in wherever needed to help the team succeed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings more than basic computer skills. Attitude, dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn matter to us.

The right person will be:

Organized and detail-oriented Dependable and accountable Professional and comfortable communicating with different types of people Able to manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Comfortable learning new software and technology Willing to ask questions, learn our business, and take ownership of their responsibilities Someone who sees something that needs done and takes the initiative to help Previous administrative or office experience is required. Experience in construction, manufacturing, accounting, or another fast-paced business environment is a plus, but it is not required. Why Whitacre Rebar?
