The position shares in the responsibility for the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the department with minimum of delay or disruption and the maximum of efficiency and effectiveness. Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with other employees, members of the public and Miami Valley Hospital providers and business office
Manage and direct phone calls as appropriate
Manage process related to retrieving and reviewing medical imaging results, laboratory results that require phone call and certified letter send to patients
Maintain all applicable rosters with up-to-date information
Schedule various department meetings and individual meetings
Manage preparation of agendas and powerpoint presentation for department meeting
Record, type and distribute department meeting minutes with accuracy and timeliness
Monitor office supply budget for administration cost center § Able to type 50 words per minute § Proficient in Microsoft office applications-especially Word § Knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel § Excellent time management skills § Excellent communication skills-verbal and written § Detail oriented § Punctual § Able to work a flexible schedule to meet department needs
