Position Details:
Office Coordinator (Non-Exempt) Mercy Hospital Logan County - Guthrie, OK Full-time, 40 hours per week Under the direction of the Manager, will perform a wide variety of duties to provide clerical and administrative support. Activities include, but are not limited to: phones, billing, appointment scheduling, patient registration, office supply inventory, transcription, filing, insurance verification and other duties as assigned. Interacts with co-workers and members of other departments. Assists in unit operational support tasks; assists with Human Resources management; works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals. Responds to requests within authorized scope of knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required with coursework in clerical skills.
Experience:
A minimum of two years' experience in a medical office setting. Five years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
Other:
Typing proficiency required. Medical terminology required. Why Mercy?
