Job Description

Psygient is a progressive and growing outpatient mental health services company servicing OR and WA. We are in search of a future employee who is looking for more than the typical office position. This position entails all realms of office management and skills growth to make this a career rather than just a job. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, in Pendleton, OR.
CAREER DESCRIPTION
  • Manges the day-to-day operations of the office including phones, faxes, emails, in-office clients, etc.
  • Communicates competently and effectively, both in person and on the phone.
  • Projects a positive and professional image at all times.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to client and new client inquiries.
  • Promotes and maintains positive relationships and rapport with clients, providers, and referring agencies.
  • Schedules client appointments and coordinates provider schedules.
  • Verifies that all patient information is updated at each visit.
  • Enters and maintains accurate client records and other documentation.
  • Handles sensitive and privileged information with the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity, and maintains and abides by strict confidentiality and HIPAA laws/regulations.
  • Processes POS (point-of-sale) payments. SKILLS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask with frequent disruptions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Expertise in prioritizing and planning work activities and using time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, without detailed supervision.
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED
  • Required.
  • Two years of general office experience, preferably in the healthcare field
  • Required.
  • Customer service or front office experience
  • Required.
  • Medical office experience
  • A plus.
  • Proficient with computer use and Microsoft applications
  • Required.
  • Knowledge of EHR
  • A plus.
