Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mail Carrier and become an essential part of our logistics and delivery network! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering mail, packages, and parcels to residential and commercial addresses. Your dedication will ensure timely deliveries, exceptional customer service, and adherence to safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to stay active, develop driving skills, and contribute to a vital service that keeps communities connected. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, and personal vehicles, following all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as rolling carts and bins Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route maps to maximize productivity Deliver mail, parcels, and packages to designated addresses with professionalism and a customer-focused attitude Adhere to safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items during loading, unloading, and deliveries Must be able to lift up to 70lbs independently Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each route driven Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes Must have clean 5 year driving record, pass a drug test and background check to be considered Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a focus on customer service excellence Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Skilled in driving, including right hand drive vehicles Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace weight handling standards Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and safety protocols Excellent organizational skills for route planning and time management Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and record keeping Join us in delivering more than just mail—bring energy, precision, and a customer-first mindset to every route!
