Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to support daily mail operations and document scanning, along with general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate efficiently manages mail flow, maintains accurate records, and ensures scanned documents are properly uploaded and stored.
Responsibilities:
Receive, open, and sort mail and packages by department or recipient Prepare, package, and label outgoing mail; coordinate carrier pickups Scan and digitize documents using high-speed scanners or multi-function printers Accurately enter data from scanned documents into company systems File, index, and store documents per company policies and retention standards Maintain tracking logs for all received and delivered items Handle confidential documents in accordance with data security protocols Report discrepancies, missing items, or damages promptly Assist in maintaining mailroom supplies and equipment Support additional administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous mailroom, clerical, or administrative experience preferred Experience with inserters, volume printers, postage meter machines, UPS/FedEx systems, and label creation highly desirable Proficient with data entry and document scanning software Familiarity with mail sorting procedures and office equipment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately Strong communication and time-management skills Ability to lift and carry mail bins, packages, or supplies as needed minimum 50lbs. 10370598 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
