Duties Load and unload packages using material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods Sort shipments accurately according to destination, using shipment sorting systems and manual handling techniques Operate automatic inserting machines for mail processing and prepare packages for shipment or storage Conduct warehouse distribution tasks including inventory management, filing, and data entry into warehouse management systems Assist with shipping & receiving activities, verifying shipment details, and updating records in Microsoft Office tools Perform manual handling tasks requiring heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols Support outdoor work activities such as yard checks, fence inspections, and yard audits when necessary Maintain organizational standards by keeping work areas tidy, filing documents properly, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for shipments and mail distribution Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly preferred Hands-on experience with material handling equipment operation such as forklifts is advantageous Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipment sorting, and mail processing techniques is beneficial Experience with data entry, RF scanners, automatic inserting machines, and Microsoft Office applications enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling duties required for daily operations Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort working in various environmental conditions Excellent customer service skills are valuable when interacting with team members or external partners Join us in this energetic role where your skills will directly impact our success!
