Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Rural Carrier Associate, where you will be the vital link between our organization and the communities we serve. In this energetic role, you will deliver packages, mail, and other essential items efficiently and safely using your personal vehicle or company-provided equipment. Your proactive approach and excellent customer service skills will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic regulations and safety standards. Duties Safely load, unload, and deliver packages and mail along designated rural routes using personal or company vehicles such as box trucks or courier vans Operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment like pallet jacks to manage heavy loads efficiently Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices during all delivery activities Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch teams Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and moving parcels of varying weights while practicing safe lifting techniques Load and unload shipments at warehouses or distribution centers, utilizing warehouse operations procedures and material handling equipment when necessary Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with recipients, answering questions, and ensuring a satisfactory delivery experience Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Proven commercial driving experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles Delivery driver experience involving route driving, load & unload procedures, and adherence to traffic regulations Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or moving carts Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, safe workplace weight handling practices, and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations is highly desirable Ability to navigate using mobile devices efficiently for route management and communication Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely in fast-paced environments This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on activity, enjoy working independently while providing top-tier customer service, and are committed to safety standards.
