Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering mail and packages to rural areas. This position requires excellent driving skills, customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload mail and packages from a box truck or van
• Drive a manual transmission vehicle to deliver mail to rural areas
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate and timely delivery
• Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating vehicles and handling mail
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving box trucks, tractor-trailers, or vans preferred
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and moving of mail and packages
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Please note that this position may require working in various weather conditions and may involve long hours of driving.
