PRN (including weekends) Front Office Receptionist - All Locations Looking for a flexible healthcare position where you can pick up hours and make a difference? Medical Associates of the Shoals is looking for a PRN Front Office Receptionist to provide coverage at our four locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a busy environment, and is looking for a flexible schedule. Our PRN Receptionists help keep our offices running smoothly by stepping in when additional front-office coverage is needed. What You'll Be Doing Welcome patients with a friendly and professional attitude Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately Schedule and reschedule appointments Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Collect copays and other patient payments Assist with referrals, records, and other frontoffice tasks Communicate with clinical staff to help maintain smooth patient flow Maintain accurate patient information in eClinicalWorks Provide frontoffice coverage at any of our four locations Help wherever needed to ensure patients receive excellent service What We're Looking For Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and patientfocused Comfortable working in a busy medical office environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable learning different office routines and working with different teams Must be willing to work weekends as needed Must be willing to travel between all four Medical Associates of the Shoals locations Why Join Us?
