Mokelumne River Veterinary Services is a privately owned small animal practice that prides itself on a close-knit, family-like atmosphere with incredibly low turnover. We are a fun, fast-paced work environment emphasizing a culture of support, personal growth, and pride in what we do. We are in search of a full-time receptionist who would be a great fit with our team.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar Check clients in and out, process payments, and provide invoices Educate clients about services, preventatives, and general pet care Maintain accurate client and patient records Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks Handle client concerns or complaints with empathy and efficiency Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized

Qualifications:

Must have veterinry experience A friendly, dependable, positive person High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service experience (veterinary preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail oriented Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Proficiency with computers and veterinary software (e.g., EzyVet, Avimark, Cornerstone) is a plus Passion for animals and a desire to help people If you believe you meet these qualifications, please email us your resume.
