Job Description

Job Summary California Concierge Medicine is seeking a warm, highly organized, and detail-oriented Entry-Level Front Desk Receptionist / Scheduler to join our patient-centered healthcare team. As the initial face and voice of our practice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. In this position, you will manage front-desk operations, coordinate patient appointments using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, and provide vital administrative support to ensure seamless daily clinic operations.
Responsibilities Patient Relations:
Welcome patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a high level of hospitality, professionalism, and attentive customer service both in person and over the phone.
Appointment Scheduling:
Manage patient scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment confirmations efficiently using our EMR system.
Check-In & Check-Out:
Coordinate seamless check-in and check-out procedures
Records & Compliance:
Maintain and update medical records accurately, strictly adhering to HIPAA privacy standards and internal confidentiality protocols.
Communication Management:
Answer incoming phone calls, address patient inquiries, route messages accurately, and oversee appointment reminder systems..
Qualifications & Experience Experience:
Prior administrative support or customer service experience in a fast-paced office setting is preferred; clinical or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
Detail-Oriented:
High accuracy in data entry and the ability to multitask effectively while keeping organized in a busy environment.
Technical Aptitude:
Basic familiarity or comfort learning medical management software, EMR platforms, and standard office technology.
Compliance:
Basic awareness of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards (or willingness to complete training upon hire).
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
