Job Description

We are an established, privately owned small animal hospital looking for an experienced, client-centered Veterinary Client Care Specialist (Receptionist) to join our close-knit team. Key Responsibilities High-Touch Client Concierge:
Deliver personalized, empathetic care from arrival to discharge, anticipating pet parents' needs, answering treatment inquiries, and creating a calm, welcoming lobby experience.
Modern Cloud Practice Management:
Efficiently utilize our cloud-based practice management software (PIMS) to schedule visits, manage multi-channel client messaging (SMS/email portals), update patient records, and streamline check-in/out workflows.
Omnichannel Communications:
Confidently manage high-volume multi-line VoIP phones, digital inquiries, and real-time client chat with prompt, polished communication.
Financial & Front-Desk Administration:
Accurately process seamless digital and contactless transactions, coordinate pet insurance claims/estimates, and balance daily reconciliation and end-of-day closing reports.
Clinic Presentation:
Maintain an immaculate, comfortable, and low-stress reception and front-office environment. Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in veterinary reception or high-touch customer hospitality is strongly preferred. Comfort and proficiency with modern technology, including cloud-based PIMS, VoIP phone systems, and digital client messaging platforms. Outstanding active listening, emotional intelligence, and de-escalation skills during emotional or urgent situations. Collaborative, dependable team player who values providing consistent, quality client care.
Position Details, Growth & Schedule Status:
Full-time (approximately 32 hours per week)

Availability Needed:

Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 - 32.0 per week
