Overview We are seeking a part-time receptionist who can master the art of multitasking while maintaining a calm, welcoming presence. As the face and voice of our spaw, you will manage client check-ins, coordinate appointments and ensure our pet parents receive excellent communication. Key Responsibilities Client Coordination and Educaction :
Greet clients, manage check-ins/check-outs and comfortably explain cut styles and techniques to pet owners to help them choose the best options for their pets
Communication Management :
Efficiently utlize call and text features on our business phone system to answer inquiries, confirm appointments and follow up with pet parents
Scheduling:
Operate our booking software to schedule, reschedule and optimize grooming appointments
Shop Upkeep:
Perform light cleaaning and general upkeep of the reception area and shop spaces to maintain a clean, safe and professional environment.
Requirments and Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of prior reception experience is required (more is highly preferred). We will provide training on our specific booking software.
Groom Shop Experience:
Prior experience working in a groom shop or pet care environment is strongly preferred. Please have a solid understanding of dog breeds, standard cut styles, coat types and grooming tools to accurately communicate with pet parents.
Reliability:
Absolute dependability regarding attendance, punctuality and reliable personal transportation is a must
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication skills, a high level of patience and a compassionate attitude toward both people and pets.
