Job Description

Cornerstone Counseling Center is seeking a skilled Receptionist/Office Assistant to undertake a variety of day-to-day administrative and communication tasks. The Office Assistant will be an integral part in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting the important mental health services we offer to children, adolescents, adults, and families. The candidate we are looking for will possess strong organizational capabilities and excellent communication skills. Helping to facilitate efficient and consistent operations, and engaging successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders as a "face" of Cornerstone are the primary goals for this role.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 9am-3pm, in office at our 630 Main Street, Plantsville, CT location Responsibilities Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency Support team with various administrative tasks Maintain medical records, both paper and electronic, while adhering to confidentiality procedures Monitor office supplies and keep offices stocked Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including calls, emails, faxes, mail, in a timely manner Work with various platforms including MS office, electronic health record system and email Defuse and problem-solve client concerns Conduct intake phone calls with prospective clients and work with staff to assign clients appropriately Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office Help maintain office spaces Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including in-person, via telephone, and written communication Reliability and professionalism Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Commitment to excellence in service and upholding the company's strong reputation and relationships Willingness to collaborate and demonstrated skill as a team player Ability to learn and utilize electronic health record system Experience in customer service is a plus Associate's/College degree; BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is a plus but not required
