Medical Receptionist / Front Office Staff Busy outpatient clinic with a unique focus on Concussion and Brain Injuries seeking a Front Office Medical Receptionist who is interested in and wants to significantly contribute to an expanding team invested in delivering excellent patient care. Duties and Responsibilities
Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
Notifying providers of patient arrivals
Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
Obtaining Prior Authorizations for a variety of services rendered by the practice.
Perform Testing Studies with patients Expectations
Partner with healthcare and administrative staff to create a patient-centered, inviting, and supportive environment for patients and families

1-2 Years of Work Experience performing front office and receptionist duties in a medical office, such as greeting patients, answering phones, and setting appointments.
1-2 Years of Work Experience with Electronic health records software systems.
Knowledge of or experience with medical terminology.
Knowledge of the laws related to the privacy and security of medical information as established in the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
