Behavioral Foundation Centers is looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive full-time Receptionist to join our team! This position is an important part of the day-to-day operation of our ABA clinic. Our Receptionist is often the first person families and visitors interact with, while also working behind the scenes to help keep the clinic organized, stocked, clean, and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes initiative, notices what needs to be done without always needing to be asked, and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed. This is not a position where every day will look exactly the same. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and comfortable balancing front-desk responsibilities with administrative and general clinic support. Work in a fulfilling environment alongside a team of professionals providing services to children with disabilities and their families. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet families, visitors, staff, and other guests in a friendly and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and route calls appropriately. Monitor and respond to emails and other communications in a timely and professional manner. Assist with scanning, faxing, emailing, copying, printing, filing, and organizing documents. Maintain calendars, schedules, and other administrative information as assigned. Assist clinical and administrative staff with day-to-day tasks and projects as needed. Complete routine inventory of clinic, office, cleaning, and other supplies. Monitor supply levels and communicate when items need to be reordered. Receive, organize, and put away incoming supplies and deliveries. Help maintain organized supply areas, cabinets, common areas, workspaces, and storage areas. Assist with keeping the clinic clean, neat, and presentable throughout the day, including routine cleaning and organization of shared spaces. Help reset and organize clinic areas as needed to support daily operations. Provide general support to clinical staff so they can remain focused on providing high-quality services to clients. Assist with preparing materials, organizing paperwork, and completing other support tasks as requested. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling client, family, and employee information. Communicate concerns, supply needs, facility issues, or other operational needs to management promptly. Work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and leadership team members. Identify tasks that need attention and take appropriate initiative rather than waiting to be directed for every responsibility. Be flexible and willing to assist with additional clinic needs as they arise. Job Requirements At least 1 year of experience in a customer service, receptionist, administrative, or similar professional setting . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Comfortable using computers, email, printers, scanners, fax systems, and common office technology. Ability to work independently while also functioning as an active member of a team. Willingness to take initiative and look for ways to support the team and improve clinic organization. Comfortable completing routine cleaning, organizing, stocking, and other hands-on clinic tasks. Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with children, families, staff, and visitors. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information. Must be able to successfully complete a Level 2 background screening . Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. What We're Looking For The right person for this role is someone who sees themselves as part of the entire clinic team—not just the person sitting at the front desk. You should be comfortable asking, "What else can I help with?" and equally comfortable recognizing something that needs attention and taking care of it without being asked. We value team members who are reliable, positive, organized, solution-oriented, and willing to help one another. Whether you are welcoming a family, answering a phone call, scanning paperwork, completing inventory, organizing supplies, tidying a shared space, or helping a clinical team member with an administrative task, your work contributes directly to keeping our clinic running successfully. If you are someone who takes pride in being helpful, staying organized, and being the person your team can count on, we would love to hear from you.
