Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Bather/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that pets leave our facility looking and feeling their best. This position requires strong animal handling skills and a customer service-oriented mindset. Duties Bathe dogs according to breed standards and owner preferences. Brush, comb, and dry dogs, ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Inspect dogs for any signs of skin issues or health concerns and report findings to the veterinary staff. Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, equipment, and supplies. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet's grooming needs and preferences. Assist with handling pets during their visits, ensuring safety and comfort. Answering phones and setting appointments Support other team members in daily operations as needed. Requirements Strong animal handling skills; experience with various breeds is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
