Job Description

We're looking for a friendly team player who enjoys working in a creative space and helping people have a great experience. Our gallery is full of guests excited to try glassblowing, so this role is a good fit for someone who likes meeting people and keeping a busy day running smoothly. Hollywood Hot Glass is a glassblowing studio in Hollywood, FL, offering hands-on classes, custom artwork, and installations. We also operate two studios at sea in partnership with Celebrity Cruises.
Schedule and pay:
Part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00-9:00 PM. Availability to fill in on other days is a plus. Pay starts at $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests, answer questions, and serve as the main point of contact in the gallery Answer phone calls and emails, manage bookings, and process payments Help guests choose workshops and artwork Keep the daily class schedule organized and communicate updates to the studio team Clean and maintain the gallery, front desk, and guest areas Use downtime to take care of cleaning, restocking, and other tasks that keep the studio running smoothly Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with the public Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to stay calm, prioritize tasks, and solve problems during busy periods Self-motivated and willing to pitch in wherever needed Attention to detail and confidence using scheduling and payment systems Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or office administration preferred
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 per week
