September 2026 Purpose The receptionist serves as administrative support to administration and is responsible for: completing receptionist tasks as required by the Executive Director, the operations and security of the reception desk area, volunteer and visitor sign in, responding to questions from the public and collaborating with the correct administrative staff. Job Responsibilities
Answers phone in a professional manner and completes necessary contact forms to support efficiencies in customer service
Sets up new families in access control systems and assigns codes/badges/fobs as needed.
Inputs any program changes in Brightwheel once notified of a change
Prepares reports for volunteers, visitors and attendance
Takes and laminates request for Program staff
Facilitates communication between customers and Sisu staff members
Assists in maintaining office supplies
Manage front office, i.e. putting up notes by door, computer and dry erase boards for school notifications and activities.
Staff, volunteer badges and stickers as needed
Mailbox labeling
Collaborate with admin staff for management of bus schedule/records. Transportation communication with Hall County
Assist Command Station staff with emergency drills and events ensuring everyone is accounted for.
Maintains organized front desk/counter
Responsible for insurance co-pays
Provides support in verbal/written translation and interpretation (may include after hours for parent meetings)
Oversees and maintains School Store including T-shirts, calendars, and food/drinks for staff and customers for purchase.
Assist with data entry in various databases used by Sisu administration
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Knowledge in the use of personal computers and copying equipment
Ability to seek support and clarification in timely manner from appropriate supervisor Preferred Training, Experience and Background
Customer support experience
Computer program knowledge, i.e. word, excel
Fluent in Spanish Key Performance Factors
Follow the strictest rules of confidentiality
Manage various ongoing time-sensitive projects
Ensure all work is of a professional quality in terms of neatness, accuracy, format, structure, grammar and spelling
Maintain packets and forms for the front desk
Provide information to the public and to visitors
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
