Job Description

Star Speech & OT serves the Star, ID community and surrounding areas, dedicated to providing exceptional services in speech, occupational, and craniosacral therapy. We are searching for an additional Front Desk Receptionist to add to our team. At Star Speech & OT, we offer a warm, welcoming environment where your rold will be integral to ensuring our clients feel supported and valued from the moment they walk in the door. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensure a welcoming atmosphere Answer phones Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments, ensuring efficient use of therapists' time Process client intake forms and maintain accurate client records Handle client payments Maintain an organized and tidy front office area Assist therapists with administrative tasks and prepare client documentation when needed Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing helpful and timely information Support team members in ensuring smooth clinic operations Assist with general office tasks, including managing supplies and ordering inventory Qualifications Strong customer service skills and a positive, welcoming attitude Experience in office administration or front desk roles (healthcare or therapy-related experience a plus!) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and scheduling systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations (HIPAA) Previous experience in healthcare or therapy settings is a plus, but not required Why Join Star Speech & Occupational Therapy?
