A specialty chemical manufacturing company with an R D lab in Northfield is seeking an Inventory Clerk to lead a full chemical inventory project - a great opportunity to bring order and precision to a lab environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting a comprehensive chemical inventory across the R D labs, documenting everything in the designated tracking systems, and applying barcode labels to chemicals and equipment. You'll work closely with lab staff and the EHS&S team to ensure inventory practices align with safety and operational protocols. This assignment is expected to run 2+ months, with the potential to extend as you'll also help provide backup coverage for reception while the current receptionist is out on leave. What You'll Do Complete a full chemical inventory of all R D labs, ensuring every chemical is accounted for and documented

Document chemical inventory information accurately in designated systems

Apply inventory barcode labels to chemicals and equipment for tracking and identification

Collaborate with laboratory staff and the EHS&S team to ensure inventory processes align with safety and operational protocols

Provide potential backup reception coverage, including answering phones and assisting with visitor management What You'll Need High school diploma required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specific database and web applications

Ability to work onsite at the Northfield office

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
