• Be a kind and welcoming face and voice when greeting clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic both in person and on the phone.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the reception area
• Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
• Assist with filling out forms and paperwork for new patients
• Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient service
• Provide basic information to clients regarding pet care appointments.
• Perform invoicing tasks including payment and receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary clinic or animal-related setting preferred but will train.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
