$18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected Hours:
40 hours per week
Work Location:
In-person — 975 Springfield St, Feeding Hills, MA 01030
Schedule:
This is a regular full-time position based at our Feeding Hills location.
The standard schedule includes:
Monday/Wednesday from 9:45 AM-6:15 PM Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM No weekends required The role also requires flexibility to provide coverage at any of our five physical therapy locations as needed for emergency coverage or to support vacation and time-off coverage. Reliable transportation is a must. About Us New England Orthopedic Surgeons is a leading private orthopedic practice committed to providing exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Feeding Hills office. Position Summary As a Physical Therapy Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include welcoming patients, verifying insurance and identity, collecting co-pays and deductibles, and maintaining accurate data in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. A strong ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor are essential to succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients upon arrival Direct patients to the appropriate physical therapist Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments Verify insurance information and patient identity Collect co-payments and deductibles Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area Provide accurate information in person, via phone, and by email Maintain calendars and schedule meetings Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, and transcribing Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist Minimum 2 years of experience working with EMR systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience operating standard office equipment (fax, printer, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities Professional appearance and customer service mindset High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in Office Management is a plus Benefits 401(k) with employer contribution Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Parental Leave Tuition Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Holidays Join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our patients every day.
