Your Role:

As a Veterinary Receptionist , you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, helping ensure a seamless experience from the moment they call or walk in. Your exceptional customer service skills will shine as you greet clients, assist with appointment scheduling, and triage calls with a helpful and knowledgeable approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence :

Provide exceptional service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a welcoming, positive experience for every client and their pet.

Appointment Scheduling :

Manage and coordinate appointments with precision, ensuring the best scheduling for our clients and staff.

Phone Triage & Basic Medical Knowledge :

Use your understanding of basic veterinary care to assist in triaging phone calls, offering guidance, and prioritizing appointments as needed.

Data Entry & Record Keeping :

Accurately manage patient records and maintain the front desk area with great attention to detail.

Team Support :

Work closely with our veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a related role highly advantageous Strong customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A solid baseline medical knowledge to assist with triage and appointment scheduling. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Compassion for animals and their owners. Familiarity with scheduling software and office systems. Background in grooming or training advantageous but nor required Assist in medical collection processes as needed. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Provide basic information on animal husbandry and care to clients. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records. Support the veterinary team with animal restraint and handling when necessary.
