Job Description

Position Summary The Front Desk Staff member is the first point of contact for Change Health Resource and Support Services, greeting visitors, answering and directing calls, and providing general administrative support to keep the front office running smoothly. This entry-level, on-site position focuses on day-to-day reception and clerical duties. Key Responsibilities Reception & Visitor Support Greet and check in visitors, clients, and staff in a professional, welcoming manner. Manage sign-in logs and direct visitors to the appropriate person or waiting area. Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to the correct staff member or department. General Administrative Support Utilize Microsoft Office applications for word processing, creating reports, and managing schedules with accuracy and efficiency. Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail as needed. Maintain a tidy, organized front desk and waiting area. Order and restock basic office and front-desk supplies. Assist with data entry, filing, and other routine clerical tasks as assigned. Scheduling & Communication Assist with basic scheduling and calendar coordination as requested by office leadership. Relay messages and information accurately and promptly to relevant staff. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred but not required. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer use. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced office setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and client communication techniques. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining a friendly demeanor at all times. Skills & Competencies Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service instincts. Clear verbal and written communication. Basic organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and stay calm with walk-in traffic and phone inquiries. Work Environment Primarily seated front-desk work in an office setting. Regular, reliable attendance required to maintain front desk coverage during business hours.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
