Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Office Receptionist and Dog Kennel Technician to join our vibrant pet care team. This dual-role position combines front desk responsibilities with hands-on animal care, providing a welcoming experience for clients while ensuring the well-being of our furry guests. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries with enthusiasm Manage appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations Handle pet drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring proper documentation and communication with pet owners Assist with pet sitting duties, including feeding, administering medications, and monitoring pets' behavior Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and pet kennels by performing regular sanitization and organization tasks Support kennel operations by handling animal restraint, dog handling, and animal care routines Assist with pet grooming, pet boarding, and outdoor activities to ensure pets are comfortable and well-cared-for Qualifications Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is a plus Experience in pet sitting, kennel management, or animal handling is a plus Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when handling large or multiple animals Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeaner Outdoor work experience beneficial for supervising outdoor play areas and walks Ability to maintain a clean environment through pet care facility sanitization practices Join our passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional pet care in a lively environment!
