Job Overview We are looking for a capable, organized, and dependable person to join our small, busy office in Wolfeboro. This is not a narrowly defined receptionist position. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the day-to-day operation of the business, take ownership of responsibilities, solve problems, and help keep things moving. Because we are a small team, the position is varied. Some days are primarily office-based, while others may involve helping with projects, checking on work in the field, handling supplies, or jumping in wherever needed.
What You'll Do:
Answer phones, greet visitors, and help manage the day-to-day flow of the office Assist with correspondence, records, paperwork, and general administrative work Maintain spreadsheets, reports, files, and other operational information Assist with bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping as needed Help keep office and field operations organized during our busy summer season Track and organize supplies and assist with ordering when needed Assist with social media, marketing, and other business projects Help identify ways to improve systems, organization, and efficiency Take on new projects and responsibilities as the role develops
What We're Looking For:
Is extremely organized and comfortable keeping track of many moving pieces Is confident using Excel or Google Sheets Communicates professionally with coworkers, clients, vendors, and customers Can work independently without needing constant direction Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Is comfortable switching between administrative work and practical, hands-on tasks Is reliable, detail-oriented, and good at problem solving Enjoys being part of a small team where everyone contributes Light bookkeeping experience is a plus Experience in office administration, operations, property management, hospitality, bookkeeping, or another small-business environment would all translate well to this role.
Schedule:
October-May:
30 hours/week,
Monday-Friday June-September:
40 hours/week: Like most local businesses, we are busy in the summer! The office is open 7 days a week during this time, so Saturdays and Sundays are part of the summer schedule. You will get two consecutive week days off to compensate.

Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
